About Common Path

Margot Stevens, Common Path’s principal consultant, has seven years work experience in international development, covering the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. With both a bachelor of arts and a master’s degree in international development, Margot has had the privilege of working on projects in Malawi, and coordinating the Canadian side on partnership projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Margot’s strengths lie in her focus on organization, from managing projects with partners in different countries, to taking care of the minute details of contract negotiation. She has prepared numerous winning proposals for publicly and privately-funded projects, from thousands of dollars to multi-million dollar projects. More often than not, this has required the coordination of team members working on different sides of the globe, but always for the shared purpose of social and economic development.
